Fantasy Premier League tips: Last-minute Fantasy Football transfers for FPL GW12

Fantasy Premier League transfers have been flying in this week ahead of GW12, with several premium-cost stars in-demand and injuries wreaking havoc. Everton ace Richarlison is among the most transferred in players of the week, though Marco Silva has dropped a bombshell suggesting he won’t be fit against Chelsea this weekend. Leicester winger James Maddison has also been a popular choice in 2018/19 but has been ruled out against Burnley through injury. Manchester United take on noisy neighbours Manchester City on Sunday, with two players gunning for big points, while Chelsea and Arsenal offer strong defensive options. Express Sport has rounded up the best Fantasy Premier League transfers you can make ahead of Gameweek 12:GKP: Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester City) – £5.0m Leicester have some great fixtures ahead starting with Burnley who have failed to threaten in too many games this season.DEF: Lewis Dunk (Brighton & Hove Albion) – £4.4m Brighton’s defence has been a goldmine over the last month, and Dunk chipped in with a goal to boost his points total.DEF: Hector Bellerin (Arsenal) – £5.4m The Gunners defender has looked sharp in recent weeks. He’s back from a thigh injury with some favourable fixtures ahead.DEF: David Luiz (Chelsea) – £5.5m Cheaper than the rest of the Blues’ backline. He will face an Everton team who could be missing their main man, Richarlison.MID: Raheem Sterling (Manchester City) – £11.1m The winger is two points off being the hottest player in FPL 2018/19. He has proven he can score or assist against any team at any time. Back him.MID: Felipe Anderson (West Ham United) – £6.9m West Ham have a terrific run of games coming up – barring City next week – and Anderson will be hoping to provide Marko Arnautovic with plenty of ammunition.MID: David Brooks (Bournemouth) – £5.1m The Cherries have been in remarkable form this season and Brooks is one of the top bargain options around.FWD: Marcus Rashford (Manchester United) – £6.7m You’d be backing City to concede a goal. That takes some courage, but Rashford could be a terrific differential option and has history in the Manchester derby…FWD: Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) – £12.4m Always a good shout, but with Crystal Palace up next, Kane appears to be the pick of the premium-cost front men.FWD: Ayoze Perez (Newcastle United) – £6.1m He will start in place of Yoshinori Muto and a goal last weekend might have kick-started his (and Newcastle’s) season.

The United States Football League’s Short Life – Decades TV Network

The United States Football League was formed in 1983. The league was the first competition for the National Football League in 20 years. The USFL had three up and down seasons and by the end of 1985 it was more than $200 million in the hole. The upstart pro football league wanted in on the NFL’s profits. To get into the game the league moved its playing season to the fall and filed a lawsuit, claiming that the NFL violated antitrust laws by creating a monopoly. On July 29, 1986, a jury agreed the NFL was guilty of violating antitrust laws but awarded a fine of just $1.

With war paint smeared on their faces, football pads on their shoulders and garters dangling from their lace-trimmed shorts, the all-female football team known as The Chicago Bliss filed into their locker room at halftime. They were beating their Midwest rivals, the Green Bay Chill, but their coach was not at all pleased with how they were playing.

“Get your s— together, that girl is kicking your f—ing ass,” he yelled at one of the players.

Welcome to the Legends Football League, where ladies dressed in nothing but a bra, booty shorts and a hockey helmet play seven-on-seven football — ground-stomping, body-bruising football.

Kids seem to be growing up faster than ever, and these stories highlight the youngest age group acting like adults “too young, too soon” (TYTS). Kids are exposed to many more influences and bad behaviors through television, film, and access to the internet. Are celebrities bad role models for young impressionable children? Between stories of teenage gunmen who are not old enough to carry their weapons, toddlers in tiaras, crazy dance moms, and kids getting plastic surgery as birthday presents, it’s easy to see that maybe growing up too fast can hurt rather than help kids.

Grief – Comfort Through Poetry

A loss of a loved one is always hard to deal with. You spend months, years, even decades talking, relaxing, and laughing together. When the "day" comes, tears flow. It's hard, really hard. But life goes on. No matter how hard you try, life goes on. We can not stop it, we can not pause it or slow it down. It keeps on going.

Even though poetry does not bring miracles, it does help. Whether it be by writing or reading, the thoughts of your loved one will be there and remembrance is part of the battle.

Writing grief poetry is a great way to express your feelings. It works simply to keeping a diary, but with poetry you can express yourself in far superior ways – more literary styles are at your disposal without sounding out of place, such as alliteration and rhymes.

Of course, the poem does not have to be about your grief, it can be a remembrance poem. The poem may even be about one of the many great times you had together, about the people eyes, their heart, or your love. The point of writing these poems is simply to express yourself. To write memories or even your overall feelings of what happened.

The great aspect of remembrance poems, however, is that you can look back on the poem whenever you feel you are about to 'forget' the person you love and to let you feel at least a small bit of comfort.

If writing poetry is not for you, there are many great sympathy poems which will work just as well during your grieving phase. Reading how others deal with the same event can do wonders when wondering how to go on with life.

Poetry is a great way to deal with emotions. Whether you are writing or simply reading, poetry is there for all your feelings, even grief and when seeking a small bit of comfort.
